A Personal Message:
Welcome and thank you so much for coming to my "House of Earth and Light" Studio website. I am honored and so happy that you're here.
When my children were little I drew Guardian Angels for them and their friends with pastels. That was 27 years ago. In 2000, Spirit spoke to me and said I could do Guardian Angels and Spiritual Guide drawings again if I chose to. There was no right or wrongs, but simply an opportunity. A flood of memories came to me. I recalled how I loved being in that creative connection with Spirit. How could I have forgotten that? In that moment, I said "Yes!" I started practicing and giving them to family and friends. I now create them for whoever is called to want one. It is a joy and a gift in my life.
I want you to know that a number of pieces that you will see show a kind of language, that I have been integrating into my watercolors, masks, and gourds. A friend called them metaglyphs (beyond verbal information).
While attending Sundance, in June 2002 on the land of Ehama Institute in Santa Cruz, I had a vision of a pattern of communication. It was as though it was being downloaded in front of my eyes. It looked like a continuous and flowing ribbon of information passing before me from my left to right. I saw what felt to be messages, and beautiful decoration and embellishment on plants and animals. I also saw the glyphs on grand headdresses on "Ancient Ones" of numerous cultures. I don't yet have total clarity about what the symbols mean. I am trusting that at some point I will and that perhaps someone else will recognize their significance and share their perspective with me. Please, let me know what you see!
In this present moment, the message for me is that we are surrounded by infinite and timeless Divine wisdom that informs and supports us at all times. We are all profoundly connected and energetically part of each other on Earth and in all Realms. Everything we need in order to live our lives in perfect Self expression is right in front of all of usÉ if we choose to have the eyes to see, the ears to hear, and the will to take action. We can choose to access this consciousness (I believe we are prompted all the time) and the wisdom that lies within and without us. We need only remember to slow down, be still and LISTEN.
I believe I am here to live as my Higher Self. The Self that sees the beauty and the promise of each of our Soul journeys. The Self that nurtures our children and the gifts that each generation brings to humanity. The Self that loves unconditionally and models for my children a human being who chooses to say "Yes" to living life fully and creatively... in love not in fear, and in integrity and joy.
I have said "Yes" to honoring God and expressing the artistic gift I've been given. I have been an "artist" in my heart since I was a little girl. So... here is my heart, my work, before you. This is my Self, expressed. I hope you are touched by it in some way and that you enjoy it and maybe even want to have something for your own.

Noble Goal - To co-create a better world for the children and the next generations by doing artwork that touches the human spirit and reminds us of who we really are.
Intention - My intention for my artwork is to help us grow in our relationships with God. I believe we are souls manifested in body on Earth to learn, to assist each other in learning, and to accompany each other on our soul journeys until we return to Spirit. My desire is that the images I co-create, with the help of Spirit, will mirror to people their true beauty and loving nature, their Higher Selves. My hope is that the visual images I create will inspire us to live from that place of higher knowing, that place of remembrance of who we really are. The world will be a better place the more we live fully expressing our love, our truth, and our purpose/passions.
