"Wisdom Spirit Masks"... The Ancient Ones

These elemental beings are 3 dimensional pieces made from palm bark, pencil, acrylic, and/or pastels. They are often embellished with found feathers, beads, semi-precious stones and crystals. I study the surface of the bark until a face presents itself to me and the process of illumination begins. Each "being" comes forward in its own time, in its own power, with its own message to give. I hope you are touched by the result. We are given so much beauty in this world if we choose to have the eyes to see. "Tell me what you see...what you remember...E-mail me."
